The chip inductor is only used in the output end of the low-voltage DC control power supply. Its application is seen in the π shape filter circuit of CLC with the filter capacitor, which can stabilize the output current (inhibit current mutation). Inductance components, consisting of a single coil, some with a magnetic core (large inductance), generally expressed in units of μH and mH, current values ranging from a few milliamps to several hundred milliamps.
Chip inductors can be divided into low-power inductors and high-power inductors. Chip inductors, low-power inductors are mainly used in frequency selective circuits and oscillating circuits; high-power inductors are mainly used in dc/dc converters, used as energy storage components or lc filtering. There are three types of low-power inductors: wire-wound, multilayer, and high-frequency; high-power inductors are all wire-wound.
