Pickering Electronics Launches High Voltage Reed Relay
Pickering Electronics has launched the industry's smallest high voltage relay. This latest 131 series reed relay has a micro single in-line package, with a floor area of 12.5mm x 3.7mm, a height of 6.6mm, and provides at least 1500V withstand voltage.
131 series reed relay provides several coil voltage options of 3V, 5V and 12V, and can be equipped with built-in diode. This series of relays are 1 form a (normally open contact) single pole, single throw, normally open, with a maximum switching current of 0.7A and a switching power of 10W. They are ideal for cable tester, mixed signal / semiconductor tester, backplane tester, high voltage instrument, online tester and other high voltage applications.
Keith Moore, CEO of Pickering Electronics, said: "Pickering's 131 series miniature in-line latch spring relay adopts vacuum sputtering ruthenium alloy latch spring switch, which has excellent low-level performance and is an ideal choice for signal applications involving a variety of different ranges. The new series of relays follow the plastic shell of our classic 113 series and contain the built-in μ alloy magnetic shielding layer to achieve high-density packaging. In addition, Pickering's unique softcenter flexible packaging structure can effectively protect the reed switch. "
