Inspection and installation steps for voltage transformers
Because the voltage transformer is prone to loosening of bolts or rupture of porcelain bushings due to vibration during transportation, it needs to be checked before formal installation to ensure that there is no damage before installation and use. After the voltage transformer arrives, generally check the appearance of the product, not the interior. If there is an abnormal problem after the test, it is necessary to check in detail. The specific inspection contents are as follows:
1. Check whether the porcelain casing of the product has cracks, whether the edges are smooth, whether there are burrs, roughness, damage, etc., and try whether the porcelain tube and the upper cover are firmly glued. Looseness cannot occur.
2. Check the oil level of the voltage transformer. The oil level indicator should show normal, there is no oil leakage and blockage. Generally, the oil level should meet the requirements, not too high or too low. If the oil level is too low, it will The insulating material of the voltage transformer is damaged, and the heating phenomenon occurs; if the oil level is too high, the internal pressure of the closed voltage transformer is too large.
3. Check whether there is oil leakage in the voltage transformer. If there is oil leakage, the iron core needs to be lifted out. After the oil is drained, the loopholes should be repaired. The valve on the oil tank should be able to rotate flexibly.

The voltage transformer is basically installed directly on the concrete pier, and the strength of the concrete pier needs to be ensured before installation.
Sometimes the voltage transformer is also installed in a complete set of switch cabinets. In this case, only wiring is required. Be careful not to tilt it too much when moving, and the outer casing must be grounded.
